13-inch MacBook Pro (2017)

  • PVP: From $ 1,299

After a long and hard thinking, we recommend the MacBook Pro (without the touch bar) before the MacBook Air.

Its price is very similar to the 12-inch MacBook, despite the big screen (13.3 inches), the more powerful Core i5 processor and the 10-hour battery life.

Its weight is more than MacBook and it is thicker, but if you want more power, we definitely recommend the 13-inch MacBook Pro.

There are two USB-C ports instead of one, and its power is enough to edit photos and light video.

For the same value of the 12-inch MacBook, you get 1.2GHz m3, better graphics card and i5 2.3GHz processor instead of 8GB RAM.

However, you get 128GB of space instead of 256GB. This is a small loss of Pro, because you want to invest in a device with more storage.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the MacBook Pro does not have USB-A port, so if you need them, then this can not be your shopping option.

Pro is still a solid and reliable MacBook, despite its much higher sales price.

MacBook Air (2018)

  • RRP: $ 1,199

For a long time, the MacBook Air has been at the bottom of our ‘Best MacBook’ list because Apple kept it neglected for more than three years.

But it all changed on October 30, when Apple finally updated and completely replaced its most “cheap” Mac notebook.

Price of new MacBook Air is higher than older MacBook Air: Prices start at € 1,349. The old MacBook Air is still available, but we do not recommend buying that model, because the computer has not been updated since March 2015, it is not worth it.

The MacBook Air 2018 is available in three colors: gold, silver and space gray. It is smaller and slim than the old MacBook Air, but still is identifiable as the MacBook Air, which is for its conical edge.

It is bigger than the 12-inch MacBook and is smaller than the 13-inch MacBook Pro.

It has the best battery life of all the MacBooks, which has 12 promise hours, which Apple refers to as “battery life throughout the day” The 13.3-inch screen is large enough to work all day, and now when Apple has equipped the MacBook Air with Retina Display, the fact is that it’s a pleasure to see.

Retina display is a major leap for the new native resolution of the previous 1440 x 900 pixels to 2,560 x 1,600 pixels per inch (similar to the 13-inch MacBook Pro).

Processor is a Core i5 Amber Lake 1.6GHz CPU (Contrary to the previous model’s Broadwell Processor 2014). This should be sufficient for the daily computing requirements of most users.

If you are a gamer or use apps that require a more powerful processor, or if you are a creative professional, then the MacBook Pro will be better suited for your needs.

The original price of the MacBook Air (2018) includes 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, two Thunderbold / USB-C port and one headphone jack.

If you want the cheapest way of laptop as a laptop, then the MacBook Air is the way to go.

13-inch MacBook Pro (2018)

  • PVP: From $ 1,799

Before the Apple update in the Touch bar version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro in 2018, it was difficult for us to recommend this model because we thought the name “PRO” was a bit wrong.

While a 15-inch model was offered which we considered as professional features, such as quad-core processors and a high-imaginative graphics card, the 13-inch model was more suitable for workers and office workers.

We believe there is a difference between professional office workers and professional creatives, and the 13-inch MacBook Pro was definitely not fit in the latter.

However, as of July 2018 updates (for the Touch Bar model only), they all changed because now they include new quad-core coffee lake chips.

Of course, a professional device comes with “professional” value, because the price of this MacBook model is about 500 € more than the model without touch times. However, you will get more than a touch bar for your extra money.

You get a Touch ID sensor, a very fast processor, a better graphics (though it’s still an integrated Intel GPU) and four USB-C ports instead of two.

But is it enough to justify high prices? It will depend on what you want. If you need a powerful Mac, but do not want to spend € 2,349 or more for the 15-inch MacBook Pro, then we think this is a good option, though you might consider an iMac as an option Want to

12-inch MacBook

  • Retail price: $ 1,299 (256GB model) or $ 1,599 (512GB model)

It may possibly be the first time in a long time that we think the 12-inch MacBook is the best (this is the first condition used for the MacBook Air). However, it is neither Air nor Pro, it is only MacBook.

As the opposition, you have to admit that it is quite expensive (from € 1269) and it is only a USB-C port.

However, it is incredibly light and its power is amazing. Its thinness has been thanked for a hard hard disk without the fan, the battery reduced to the minimum size (without reducing its power) and better retina screen than any other mac.

The 12-inch screen is large enough for all those who are using MacBook to write, send email, surf the internet or look at Netflix to rest with them in bed.

The Intel Core M3 processor is sufficient for most uses which can be given to the MacBook, but if you want to use it to play or play music and video programs, you may want to extend it to i3 or i7.

It provides 10 hours of battery, a figure is also optimistic according to our own experience, but the time of loading is quite fast.

Its keyboard is not suitable for all flavors, though Apple has improved it in 2017 to make it like the MacBook Pro.

It is available in four colors, including rose gold.

The MacBook was ahead of its time when it came out, defines the idea of an ideal laptop, and in 2018 it still represents a future in the technology world.

15-inch MacBook Pro (2018)

The 15-inch MacBook Pro is not at the bottom of our list because it is not a great computer, because it is. In fact, this is at the end of the list because it is so “highly” that its price and specification will be an exaggeration to most users.

With prices starting from € 2,799, you get 256 GB of storage, 16 GB RAM, Radon Pro graphics and 2.2 GHz 6-core I7 processor and 2.2 GHz coffee lake core i7.

If you are a video game professional or have a job related to photo or video editing, the discrete graphic card might appeal to you and 6 desirable cores. This is actually the best MacBook for creative professionals.

But if you only use MacBook to write, send an email, surf the Internet or use Netflix, then it does not mean that you spend so much money on the MacBook (compared to the rest MacBook).
