IPhone 12 could arrive with a 20W fast charger
Apple didn’t include a fast charger in the box of its smartphones until last year with the iPhone 11 Pro, which came with an 18W adapter. And that the company had been manufacturing mobiles compatible with this technology for years.
Now we have learned that the new generation of iPhones could benefit from superior fast charging as it has been leaked that the iPhone 12 would include a 20W fast charger in the box. It has not been specified whether this will be the case for all models or only for Pro models.
Compared to their competitors, they have included quick chargers in the box for several generations and have been increasing their power over the years. Oppo and Xiaomi take the lead. The Oppo Find X2 Pro, for example, supports a 65W fast charge.
On the other hand, it seems that Apple’s plans would consider a more modest fast charging technology for their mobiles. This information comes to us from Twitter user Mr White, who has also contributed images of a transparent adapter.

Although we can question Mr White’s leak, we would not be surprised if those from Cupertino had decided to offer such a small improvement (typical of Apple) and not reach the level of their rivals Oppo and Xiaomi.
If true, we also have the question of whether Apple will include this fast charger in all new models of the iphone 12 , including those that are not Pro. Currently, the iPhone 11 has the same 18W fast charge as the 11 Pro and the 11 Pro Max, but it’s only these two that come with the compatible charger.
